TAKING A WALK

Usaully about every three weeks or so I take a five mile walk. On the day of the walk I get up. I don't eat any breakfast or take vitamins. I put on a pair of comfortable shoes and then head out the door. My theory of doing it this way is this; as I walk my body needs to use some kind of fuel. Since I haven't eaten anything my body needs something to give me the energy to keep going. I believe it taps into the extra fat cells that my body has already stored. Since I have been doing this I have never felt exhausted or faint. My goal has been to lose weight and it seems to be working. When I come home I let my body recover completely from this excersise. I find that about three weeks after I take the walk I feel lighter, and sometimes I have to pull my belt tighter when I put in on and use a new notch. I don't own a scale, but I did find out recently that I weight 223lbs. At one time I weighed 250lbs. I am a firm believer in losing weight slowly. I try to eat right and I'm trying to eat less now adays because I really want this weight off.
